'Evolution', a new E.P from Richard Hiorns is released. More of a mini album than an E.P, 'Evolution' is a 20 minute creation consisting of 8 interlinked tracks, based on a theme of an evolutionary cycle...gone haywire. Lofi samples now available on audio page. The E.P is available on this site in the store section.

Radio session between 3:30 and 5:30 on 94.9 fm in Dublin and surrounding areas for IMR's Irish music radio showcase. Interview and live performance. A stream of the show should be available on the stations website for those outside of the listening area at: http://imrdublin.com/

Performing live at 'The Crane Bar', Sea Road, Galway, for Crannog magazine's quarterly edition launch. An evening of poetry and prose from local writers with music from Richard Hiorns during the intermissions, and probably a 1 to 2 hour set after the poetry. Starts at 6:30 pm. Free admission.

Currently working on several recording projects. The first one is a re-working of the unreleased 1997 experimental mini-album, 'Darwin and the snake charmer', and after that I plan to re-record 'Adventures of the peroxide twins', also originally recorded in 1997.
